During my second stay in Mariupol I had small interviews with people on the street. The participants were asked about what they like the best about Mariupol and what they like the worst.
To join the survey was easy. Three red stickers for negative aspects. And three green ones for positive.
About the negative aspects people thought pretty much equally. “Pollution” was right at the top (chosen by 88% of the respondents), closely followed by “broken down buildings” (66%). Those two were by far the most important, let alone the conflict of course. People prefer rebuilding the old buildings properly rather than making new ones.
